D2L Brightspace is the version of the Desire2Learn (D2L) learning management system (LMS) currently in use at Purdue University. It is an online course environment that allows instructors to deliver course materials, communicate with students, and create learning activities and assessments. D2L Brightspace can be used for distance education courses or to supply an online component for a traditional face-to-face course. D2L Brightspace’s secure course site can be accessed with a web browser, which enables you to engage with or develop content on the site anywhere, any time, and at your convenience.
