Importing questions from a Test Bank Network into Respondus can streamline the process of creating exams. 

Instructions

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you:

  1. Open Respondus: Launch the Respondus application on your computer.
  2. Choose the Current Personality: Ensure that the current personality is set to the correct LMS (Learning Management System) you are using (e.g., Blackboard, Canvas).
  3. Start a New Project:
    • Click on the Start tab.
    • Select Open or Create a new Respondus file.
  4. Import Questions:
    • Go to the Import Questions tab.
    • Choose the file type you are importing from (e.g., Word document, rich text file).
    • Browse and select the file from your computer.
    • Follow the prompts to map the questions correctly.
  5. Connect to Test Bank Network:
    • Click on the Test Bank Network tab.
    • Log in with your credentials if prompted.
    • Search for the test bank you need.
    • Select the questions you want to import.
  6. Preview and Edit:
    • Review the imported questions.
    • Make any necessary edits or adjustments.
  7. Publish to LMS:
    • Once you are satisfied with the questions, go to the Preview & Publish tab.
    • Follow the steps to publish the exam to your LMS.
