Submitting a paper 

  1. Log in as a Brightspace student. 

  1. Select the course that you'd like to submit to. 

  1. From the navigation at the top of the course page, select Activities then Assignments. 

  1. From the list of assignments, select the assignment you'd like to submit to. 

  1. Select the Add a File button. 

  1. Select the file from its location on your computer. 
    NOTE: You can upload files up to a maximum of 100 MB and 800 pages.  

  1. If you receive the below error message, your instructor has restricted the file type accepted for this assignment.

  1. To check to see what file type is acceptable, open the assignment submission space and under “Submit Assignment” you will see the file types allowed. 

  1. Once the file has uploaded successfully, select the Add button. 

  1. All finished? Select the Submit button to complete your submission. 

Accessing the Similarity Report 

To view your Similarity Report and/or instructor feedback in Feedback Studio, you must have submitted to your dropbox assignment in Brightspace. 

  1. Log in as a Brightspace student. 

  1. Select the course that you'd like to submit to. 

  1. From the navigation at the top of the course page, select Activities then Assignments. 

  1. From your list of assignments, select Submission in the Completion Status column. If this option is unavailable, your report may not have been generated yet. 

  1. Select the percentage from the Report column to open Turnitin Feedback.
