The Email tool allows you to send email from within the Brightspace Learning Environment. You also have the ability to view any previously sent mail through Brightspace. In this guide, you will learn how:

While in your course, select Communication then Classlist in the Navbar.

You can do one of the following:

Compose your message and add any attachments.
To email others using the Email tool:

On the course homepage in the upper right-hand corner, click on the envelope then Email.

Manually add emails, compose your message and add any attachments.
View any previous emails you have sent through Brightspace:

On the course home page, click Email.

In the upper right-hand corner, select the Sent Mail button.

You will be shown a chronological listing of all messages that you’ve sent through D2L. Click on a subject line to view the message.
