Overview
This article provides step-by-step directions for importing a Contacts file into Microsoft 365.
Instructions
- Sign in to your Office 365 account at http://portal.office.com.
- Select the 'Outlook' icon from the left side of the page.
- At the bottom left side of the page, select the 'People' icon (hovering over the choices will display the name of each choice).
- At the top of the Outlook page, select the 'Manage' icon and click on 'Import contacts' from the drop down list.
- On the next screen, browse for the contact file (this will be a CSV file that you export from another email service).
NOTE: If you do not see this option, but a list of other email clients, pick any of them to browse for your *.CSV file.
- Select 'Import'.
