Overview
The registration pin process has been updated to new technology. Below are step-by-step directions for finding the registration PIN (Personal Identification Number) in myPurdue prior to spring 2026 registration and how to obtain a pin going forward. A registration PIN is necessary to register for courses each term. If you are unsuccessful in following the steps below, please reach out to your academic advisor to obtain your registration PIN.
Instructions
- Log into myPurdue with your career username and password.
- From the top left, click on the main menu.
- Click on All Cards.
- In the search bar, type: Registration PIN.
- The card appears with the student’s name, the term, and a PIN or a message (see possible messages below).
Possible Messages
- Your Registration PIN information is not available due to holds on your record. Go to your student profile to view your registration holds and determine how to resolve them. If you have taken the required actions to resolve your registration holds, please allow up to 24 hours for the holds to be released.
- Please see your advisor.
- There are no registration terms available at this time.
Troubleshooting
If you are unable to access your registration PIN, please contact your academic adviser.
