PFW – How to Add or Remove Printers on Purdue-Owned Computers Using PaperCut Print Deploy

Print Deploy is a self-service printer management tool that allows you to add and remove printers on your Purdue-issued computer.

Instructions:

Follow the directions below for Windows and macOS.

  1. The Print Deploy tool can be found in the menu/task bar by your computer’s date/time in the form of a green printer icon.

Windows:

Mac:

  1. Click “View my printers” to open the application.
  2. The utility may ask you to log in using your Purdue career account.
    If prompted, enter your Purdue career account and password to authenticate.

Note: PaperCut Print Deploy may occasionally prompt you to log in again.

  1. Add a Printer
  • Click “Add Printers” in the left-hand navigation menu.
  • Find the printer you want and click the green Install button next to it.

 

  1. Click “My printers” to confirm the printer has been installed.
  2. The “My printers” homepage will show currently installed printers.

    Once installed, you are ready to print.
     
  4. To remove a printer, click on the trash can icon located alongside the printer information.
    The main panel lists installed printers. A trash can icon, highlighted with a red box, appears next to a printer to indicate the option to remove it.

    If no printers are displayed in the “Add Printers” tab, this may indicate a security group issue. Please click the Purdue IT Request button and include the printer name, as well as your device hostname or serial number, so we can assist you
