Overview
This article explains how to reset the password for your own administrative account. Both methods require knowledge of the current password. If you forgot your admin password, please contact your local desktop team for assistance.
Instructions
Method 1: Ctrl + Alt + Delete
- On your Windows computer, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete on your keyboard.
- Select Change a password from the menu.
- Enter your current password in the Old password field.
- Enter your new password in the New password field.
- Re-enter the new password in the Confirm password field.
- Press Enter or click the arrow button to submit the change.
- You should receive a message confirming that your password has been changed successfully.
Method 2: Adaxes
- Sign in to the Adaxes Web Interface using your admin account.
- Click your profile icon in the upper-right corner of the page.
Select My Account.
In the left-hand pane, click Reset Password.
- Enter your new password, ensuring you are meeting the password requirements.
- Click Reset.
Method 3: Contact a Peer
If you have a peer that has an OUAdmin Account in your area, ask them to help reset your password administratively in Adaxes. If they are unable, see Method 4.
Method 4: Contact Local Desktop Support
If you forgot your admin password, please contact your local desktop team for assistance or submit a ticket by using the button below.
