Purdue is mobile first for students, and the Purdue Mobile ID is the primary form of student identification. Students who need a physical Purdue ID card will be charged the physical ID card fee through their myPurdue account. Students who are unable to use the Purdue Mobile ID due to device incompatibility or because they require access to a location that does not support Mobile ID may submit a waiver request for review. If approved, the physical ID card fee will be waived.

Purdue Mobile ID is Purdue University's implementation of Transact Mobile Credentials. Transact Mobile Credentials is technology that enables authorized users the ability to download the Transact eAccount app, add their Purdue Mobile ID to either Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, and use their iPhone, Apple Watch, or Android smartphone to access campus buildings, purchase meals, and more, the same as they would their physical Purdue ID Card.
