Overview

Black-and-white laser printers are available in all open student labs, teaching labs, and student housing labs. Color printers can be found in the locations listed below.

Students receive $20 in the fall and $20 in the spring, with a maximum rollover balance of $60. Printing charges are $0.04 per side for black and white pages and $0.12 per side for color pages. There is no charge for printing the cover or separator page, and any unused funds can be rolled over up to the maximum balance.

Student Computer Lab Printers

There are black and white laser printers available in all of the open student labs, Computer classrooms, and PFW Student Housing study lounges.

Color printers are available at the following locations:

  • Helmke Library – 1st Floor
  • ETCS Building – Main Lobby
  • Science Building – Lobby
  • Neff Hall – Room 113 (24/7 Open Lab)
  • Kettler Hall – Room 217 (Open Lab)
  • Walb Union – Room 223 (Donna’s Den)
  • PFW Student Housing Club House

All WebPrint jobs are printed double-sided (long-edge) by default. For single-sided printing or other advanced options—such as multiple pages per sheet—please use a lab computer. Special paper, transparencies, and envelopes cannot be used in the printers.

Printing Quotas

Each student receives a $20 credit per semester—disbursed on August 1 for the Fall term and January 1 for the Spring term—as part of the student technology feePages are charged at $0.04 per side for black and white.

Pages are charged at $0.12 per side for color.

There is no charge for printing the cover/separator page.

Unused balances will roll over from one semester to another up to a maximum total balance of $60.
 

Need Additional Printing Funds

Students who exhaust their semester printing allotment are prevented from continuing to print. Additional printing funds may be added to their PaperCut account through the Bursar's Office in increments of $5. Once funds have been added, they will be available for use toward printing on campus printers.
