How do I configure my iPhone for Microsoft 365 for Purdue Research Foundation (PRF)?

This article provides step-by-step instructions for Purdue Research Foundation (PRF) employees to configure an iPhone to connect to Microsoft 365.

NOTE:  These instructions are only for Purdue Research Foundation employees. 

  1. Press the 'Settings' icon. 
     
  2. Press 'Mail, Contacts, and Calendars'. 
     
  3. Press 'Add Account'. 
     
  4. Select 'Microsoft Exchange'. 
    Add Account
     
  5. Key in your email address and password. 
    Email and Password
     
  6. Click 'Next' in the upper right hand corner of the screen. 
     
  7. Your phone or tablet should fill in all the appropriate data itself.  If not, the information needed is below.
    1. Server: outlook.office365.com
    2. Use SSL: On
    3. S/MIME: Off
      Account Information
       
  8. From your 'Accounts' menu, select any of the following that you want to sync, as well as the number of days that you would like your Inbox to sync.
