[Windows] Obtaining Your Cisco Remote IP

Overview:

If you are working with IT and they need to connect to your machine at home and the machine name is not working, please see the below steps to obtain the IP from Cisco AnyConnect. This error is common when the user recently connected to the VPN.

Instructions:

1 Open Cisco AnyConnect from the start menu by searching Cisco Secure Client and clicking open

2. Once open, click the settings Icon in the bottom Left.

3. Once you have the above, open there should be a Statistics tab. Find the IPV4 Address and use that to connect in remote viewer.

Once you have provided this and the connection is seen, the IT Tech can connect to your machine.
