Ag - How to set a default browser on your Windows 11 Computer

Overview

This article will take you through the steps to set a web browser of your choice as the default browser for your computer

Instructions

 

  1. In the search bar at the bottom of your Windows computer type "default app"
  2. Select the "Default apps" option

  3. On the default apps screen, find the Set defaults for applications section and type in the name of your preferred browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)

  4. Select your browser from the list
     
  5. At the top of the next page, you will have a section that says "Make (browser name) your default browser)". Select the button Set Default

  6. Your default browser will now be set
