Purdue Fort Wayne- Respondus LockDown Browser and Chromebooks (Student Guide)

Overview

A Chromebook extension for Respondus LockDown Browser in now available for Brightspace Quizzes.  Please follow the steps listed below for enabling and using the LockDown Browser on your Chromebook.

Instructions

1. Allow pop-ups in your Chrome Browser.

  • Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Site Settings > Pop-ups and redirects.

2. Select the Quiz, within your Brightspace course. At the bottom of the Quiz page click. Download and install the latest version of Lockdown Browser.

3. After downloading the Lockdown Browser on your computer, return to the Quiz page and select Launch LockDown Browser.

4. The Quiz will launch within LockDown Browser.

5. Click Start Quiz.
