Overview
This walk through will take you through what information is needed to set up your new printer and what steps you will need to take to get the new printer setup.
Instructions
- Prior to submitting a ticket, plug the new printer in to the network and turn it on.
- Set the printer to DHCP
- Fill out the New Printer Setup Form by clicking the button above.
- In the form, provide the following information
- Is the new printer replacing an existing one? If so, which one is being replaced?
- Make and Model of new printer
- Location of printer
- For Campus: Building and Room information
- County: County Name
- MAC Address of Printer
- Default admin username and password for the printer (if applicable)
- Once we receive the ticket, we will work to get the printer setup on the network and contact you when it is ready for use
