How do I log in/out and reset the client for Work Manager on a mobile device?

Overview

This article provides step-by-step instructions for logging into and out of  Work Manager and resetting the client, environment, from a supported iPad.

Instructions

Log in

  1. Open the 'Work Mgr' application on your mobile device

  2. Select 'Go' to log in

  3. A dialog box will appear prompting you to connect to the server, select 'OK'.

  4. Enter appropriate server information in the "Server' field

    Dev:  https://erp-smp-dev.itap.purdue.edu:8081/SAPWM
    QA:  https://erp-smp-qa.itap.purdue.edu:8081/SAPWM
    Prod:  https://erp-smp-prd.itap.purdue.edu:8081/SAPWM

    NOTE:  Server information is case sensitive

  5. Select 'OK'

  6. You will see a screen similar to the following. It may take a few minutes to get logged in.

  7. Once successfully logged in, you will see the following:

Log out

  1. Select 'Modules', located in the upper left corner.
    Select Modules
     
  2. Select the ‘options menu’ (box with the up arrow) located in the upper right corner

  3. Select Logout

  4. After you have been successfully logged out, you will be returned to the log in screen.

Reset server

This will allow you to change the server (Dev/QA/Prod) with which you connect.

  1. From the login screen, enter your career account 'User ID' and 'Password'​​​​​​​, and select the 'circled i icon', located in the middle on the far right of the screen.

  2. Select ‘Reset Client’.

  3. Select ‘Reset everything’.

  4. A dialog box will appear requesting that you confirm the reset. Select ‘OK’.

  5. Following a successful reset, you will be returned to the log in screen.
