What is BoilerTrack?

BoilerTrack (https://apps.it.purdue.edu/boilertrack) is a real-time attendance tracking system used for a wide range of Purdue University campus events from career fairs and student organization meetings to alumni gatherings and workshops. It enables event organizers to efficiently manage attendance and gather participation data.

Key Features:

• Swipe/Tap Access: Attendees may swipe or tap their Purdue ID (card or mobile) when the MRD5 near field communication (NFC) machine is available. 
  • Note: The event coordinator can check out and/or purchase an MRD5 NFC machine by reaching out to the card services team: https://www.purdue.edu/treasurer/finance/card/services/
    • Select mobile credential read request tab. 
• Guest Login: Allows attendees instant access without registration
• Data-Driven Insights: Organizers can access attendance reports to evaluate engagement and improve future programming.
• Custom Branding: Event coordinators can upload company logos for a personalized touch. 
• Badge Printing: Name plates/tags may be auto-printed with a Dymo label writer.
