Why does the 'Week at a Glance' class schedule show a time conflict?

Tags Banner

Overview

Some student schedules may be displayed in the 'Week at a Glance' page indicating a class conflict when none exists. This occurs in Banner when a class is scheduled to multiple rooms at the same time.

Details

The matrix display of 'Week at a Glance' considers this a conflict even though no conflict exists.

If the matrix shows a time conflict error, click on the class or classes listed with time conflicts to view additional details about each class.

NOTE:  In the example provided below, AAE 33301 is scheduled for two rooms, but Banner only displays one room and indicates that this course has a time conflict with itself.  This is because the class is scheduled for more than one location at the same time.  Students need to attend class in the room indicated, and additional information about the section meeting location will be provided by the instructor.
