Daniels School of Business - How do I Map My U: and V: Drive on Mac

Overview

While on Purdue campus or working remotely, you may need to map your U: and V: drives on a Purdue-owned or personally owned Mac computer (meaning it was not provided by Purdue University). In this article, we will guide you through mapping your U: and V: drives.
Please note that this is specifically for Daniels School of Business faculty, staff, and students.

Instructions

In the steps below, we will instruct you how to map your U: and V: drives on your Mac computer.

  1. Open Finder
  2. Click Go and then Connect to Server...
  3. Below are the paths you will want to enter in order to connect to each Network Drive

    U: smb://wl.mydata.purdue.edu/dsb_users

    V: smb://wl.mydata.purdue.edu/dsb_groups

    *If you are off campus, you will need to connect to the Purdue VPN to access the network drives.
