Overview
This article explains how to use Transact Online Photo Submission, a feature within Transact eAccounts that allows students and other Purdue community members to upload their photo online for their official Purdue ID. The process can be completed through a web browser or the eAccounts mobile app, making it simple and convenient to submit your photo before arriving on campus.
Details
Online Photo Submission is fully integrated with Transact eAccounts and enables users to upload a photo from any web browser or through the eAccounts app. This photo will be used for your official Purdue ID.
At the West Lafayette campus, eAccounts users are required to log in using two-factor authentication. Purdue Fort Wayne users follow a slightly different process and should refer to instructions provided by PFW Campus Credentials and Transportation on their website.
Eligibility requirements and photo guidelines can be found on the ID Card Operations / Support website under Submit Photo. Please note that this site is intended for new customers only; existing customers who want to update their photo should follow separate instructions provided by ID Card Operations.
For incoming undergraduate students, Online Photo Submission is listed as a task in the New Student Task List within the myPurdue portal. Students should follow the deadlines provided in the task list to ensure timely submission.
If a photo is already on file, new submissions will be declined. All communications regarding photo submission status are sent to the customer’s Purdue email address. Common reasons for photo rejection and important reminders are available in the FAQ section on the ID Card Operations / Support website under Submit Photo.
Transact Online Photo Submission is managed by ID Card Operations / Support.
