This article describes what the eligibility requirements are for Office 365 Email, Calendar and Office Products for Students, Faculty, Staff and Affiliates.

Instructions

Microsoft Office 365 is now available for students, faculty, and staff at Purdue University.  Go to https://portal.office.com and use your Purdue Career Account credentials to log in.  The suite of services within Office 365 are broken out as follows:

1. Students
   1. Email and Calendaring
   2. Online Office tools
   3. 1 TB of OneDrive space
   4. Access to download and install the latest full version of Microsoft Office products on up to five of your personal devices (computers, tablets or phones) with Windows, OSX or iOS and some Android tablet operating systems. 
       
2. Faculty, Emeritus Faculty and Staff
   
   NOTE: This includes Visiting Scholars, Continuing Lecturers, Limited Term Lecturers, and Visiting Faculty.  Temporary Employees are eligible for Office 365 under the University agreement with Microsoft.
   1. Online Office tools
   2. 1 TB of OneDrive space
   3. Access to download and install the latest full version of Microsoft Office products on up to five of your personal devices (computers, tablets or phones) with Windows, OSX or iOS and some Android tablet operating systems. 
       
3. Official Retirees - Email and Calendaring only.

NOTE: Upon separation from the university, faculty, staff and students will lose access to the Office suite products (free Office for download, OneDrive and Office online) and will need to remove any files they want prior to their last day. Students who graduate will continue to retain their @purdue.edu address for 3 semesters through Office 365.
