How do I connect to Software Remote from an iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad?

This article provides step-by-step instructions for connecting your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad to Software Remote.

If you have 'Favorite Apps' configured in Software Remote, they will appear on the Citrix Workspace App once it is installed.  If you have none configured, or you wish to add a new one, click the '+' tab on the side of the screen.  Then select the application you wish to add from the list that appears.  Follow these steps to install and configure Software Remote:

  1. Open the App Store on the iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad and search for 'Citrix Workspace for iPad' and install it.  This is a free app.
     
  2. Start the 'Citrix Workspace App'.
     
  3. Click 'Get Started'.
     
    1. Enter the server name (NOT your email address): 'goremote.itap.purdue.edu'.
       
    2. When prompted, enter your credentials:  Purdue Career Account username and Purdue Career Account password
       
    3. Click 'Sign In'.
