Overview

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) Clients now have the ability to opt-in to receive text appointment reminders via Titanium Schedule. Titanium is a scheduling application used in the CAPS department. Due to strict HIPAA regulations, access to this application is limited to certain personnel within CAPS, as they have a need to view medical records. This is a minor enhancement to the current Titanium Schedule software.

CAPS clients will opt-in/opt-out of text appointment reminders using the iPads in the front office area of each CAPS location. The client will opt-in/opt-out by completing a liability waver form on the iPad. Once this step is completed, a CAPS secretary will enable the student, within Titanium schedule, to receive text appointment reminders. A CAPS secretary will also be in charge of sending CAPS text appointment reminders 1 to 4 days prior to the patient’s appointment
