Why can't I open Internet Native Banner (INB) in the myPurdue portal?

Description

Before gaining access to Administrative Banner, you must have been assigned the appropriate role or roles for access. With the proper role or roles, you will see a link to Administrative Banner when you log into myPurdue. The last step for gaining access is to ensure you are FERPA and GLBA certified. Click here Webcertified to visit the online certification page, and to see if you have other certifications that may not be completed or expired.

Instructions

If your certification has expired, or you have not completed FERPA and GLBA certification, you will see a pop-up error with the message ’Logon denied. Please contact the system administrator' Your account will not be unlocked until you have been certified. Once you have finished taking your certifications send an email to certify@purdue.edu<mailto:certify@purdue.edu> informing them that you have finished your certification. They will unlock your account, but this process may take a few hours. If it has been longer than 24 hours after sending an email to certify@purdue.edu and your account is still showing this error message, you can contact the ITaP Customer Service Center, (765) 494-4000, and we can assist you in finding any other reason your account may be locked.

NOTE: If you have access to SSN's, you must also take the 'Protecting Social Security Numbers at Purdue University' certification.

NOTE: If you have not taken the necessary certifications, you may encounter this message when logging into MyPurdue Portal:
