Overview
All Purdue students, faculty, and staff automatically receive network storage space, referred to as a career account home directory, with 25 GB of storage.
Home directories are automatically available on all Purdue IT lab computers, and can be accessed from personal computers. NOTE: You may need to connect to the VPN if you are off-campus. Follow these instructions to connect to the VPN: How do I connect to the Purdue VPN?

Regardless of the protocol you use, your computer must be connected to a wired or wireless campus network or connected via webvpn.purdue.edu to access your Home Directory. (See KB Article - How do I connect to the Purdue (West Lafayette) VPN with a Mac, Windows or Linux machine? )

Linux
Due to the variety of versions and environments available, it is not practical to list all of available ways to map a network drive.
However, for user with Samba packages installed, the following command should work reliably across most common environments: $ smbclient -W boilerad -U <CA username> //nas01.itap.purdue.edu/puhome
