Overview
The command gpupdate /force is used to force the update of group policies that are applied by your company.
Instructions
1. You must be connected to a Campus network. Whether it’s on site or connected to VPN.
2. Click on the Start Menu and in the search bar and type “gpupdate /force” and then hit enter. This will open a command window and will update the Group Policies on your computer. If you get asked to logoff, type “N”.

3. Now we need to reboot your computer.
4. If working remote remember to use “Sign in Before Logon” (SBL) to connect to VPN before logging on.

5. At this time, the process should be complete.
