Overview

Wolfram Mathematica is available to faculty, staff, and active students for academic teaching and learning or academic, non-commercial research use only.

Instructions

Requesting Mathematica License

1. Go to https://www.wolfram.com/siteinfo/

2. Enter your @purdue.edu email address and click "Get Mathematica"

If you have never created a WolframID, you will be prompted to create an account.

3. Complete the form.  If you are installing Mathematica on multiple machines, you will need to complete this and to obtain an Activation Key for each machine.

Licensing information will be emailed to your @purdue.edu account.  You can also find it by signing into user.wolfram.com.

4. You will be able to download Mathematica by clicking on the "continue to the Product Summary Page" after your activation key has been created.  A link to download the software will also be included in the licensing email from Wolfram.

Licenses are co-termed and expire in August of each year.

Faculty licenses are set to auto-renew by default.
