Overview
Localist is a cloud based web application sold by Localist. The application supports the University Calendar and provides a way to submit, approve, and post events of interest to the Purdue Community and the General Public. The application can be accessed at "events.purdue.edu"
Details
Anyone with an account can make a request to post an event. The request will be sent to an approval queue where the appropriate department can review and approve a posting.
Anyone with career account can log in using Single Sign On. If you do not have a Purdue career account, an account can be created by logging in with your email address and a password of your choice.
In addition, event information can be set up to automatically synchronize between other web pages or applications by making a request to the Marketing and Communications (MarCom) Organization.
