Body

Overview

DocuSign is an electronic signature and digital transaction management software tool facilitating exchanges of contracts and signed documents

Details

Users from campus can upload documents or use pre-built templates stored in the cloud and then email recipients to review/sign the document.  All signatures and documents are encrypted.

To access DocuSign

All individuals with a @purdue.edu account may access DocuSign for work related activities. Access is available from the Purdue employee portal page.  A new request and design of forms should be reviewed with the Purdue IT Business Services Competency Center (BSCC) and the business owner of the process.

For more information visit https://www.purdue.edu/hr/buspur/formsproc/forms/.

Troubleshooting

The individual kicking off the form is responsible for monitoring that specific document/flow and following up with individuals in the flow as necessary.  By kicking off the form within DocuSign, the user can monitor,  adjust, and re-send documents as necessary.

The business owners of the form/process along with the Purdue IT Business Systems DocuSign representative will be responsible for daily operations and additional questions.
