Overview

TeamDynamix (TDX) has a robust project management functionality that can manage projects all the way from a request to closure.  Included in this are project approval workflows, multiple Waterfall and/or Card Wall plans for each project, status reports, time tracking by project members and Portfolio collections for reporting.

Instructions

If you are interested in using the project functionality of TDX for your area, please reach out to the Purdue IT Service Management team here for a demo and conversation about your project management needs.

If your area is already using TDX for project management or you are interested in requesting an IT project, requests for new projects may be submitted here.  Purdue IT Projects are either run by a dedicated Project Manager from within the PMO, or may be delegated to Citizen PMs in specific areas for projects that need oversight and have business stakeholders, but do not rise to the level of needing the PMOs assistance.  Operational projects are typically used to manage the workload of individual teams so that maintenance tasks, incremental enhancements or workload are able to be tracked and monitored.

Resources

The Purdue IT PMO has developed extensive documentation on the usage of the TDX project management functionality for their own use, but is useful for all project managers.  Click here to go to their page and download their TDX Help Document.  Please be aware that this page requires sign in with Purdue Career Account credentials.
