AppsAnywhere: Common Troubleshooting Tips

Body

Below are some common troubleshooting tips when dealing with issues in AppsAnywhere.  The error messages and the application in which you are getting the error message can help in figuring out what the issue is.

Reboot

Doing a reboot of the computer will solve a majority of the issues.

Check that the browser will launch the client

When you first launch AppsAnywhere and click on a link, your web browser will ask you if you want to allow it to open an application.  You always want to say yes to this.  If you checked the box to remember and clicked on no, you will have to reset your browser cache.

Remove from Cloudpaging Player

Sometimes the cloudpaging player has some issues with applications, and relaunching will not fix the issue as the program is cached locally.  The easiest way to try and resolve this is to remove it from the Cloudpaging player.  If the application is still listed as running, you need to click on the Stop button.  If the application is not in a running status, click on remove to remove the cache of the application and try launching it again.

Click Remove on the cloudpaging player

Reinstall

If it just doesn't seem to work, you can try removing the client and then doing the install again.  After logging into AppsAnywhere, click on the portrait in the upper right corner AppsAnywhere Blue Portrait and then select "Download the client," which is highlighted in the picture below.

Download the Client
