Overview

While on Purdue campus or working remotely, you may need to map your U:\ and V:\ drives on a Purdue-owned or personally owned Windows computer (meaning it was not provided by Purdue University). In this article, we will guide you through mapping your U:\ and V:\ drives.
Please note that this is specifically for Daniels School of Business faculty, staff, and students.

Instructions

In the steps below, we will instruct you how to map your U:\ and V:\ drives on your Windows computer.

  1. If off-campus, connect to the Purdue VPN
  2. Open File Explorer
  3. Click the three dots in the top bar
  4. Select Map network drive

Choose a Drive Letter

  1. Enter the path to the desired drive, and check the box for “Connect using different credentials”

V: \\wl.mydata.purdue.edu\dsb_groups

U:\\wl.mydata.purdue.edu\dsb_users


 

7. Enter your Career Account credentials when prompted. You will need to preface your username with “boilerad\”
