Overview
Provides instructions for how to remote into a users computer using the BeyondTrust remote support tool.
Prerequisites
- Have the BeyondTrust remote support tool installed on your computer
- Be signed into the BeyondTrust remote support console
- User has an active Internet connection (No VPN Required)
Instructions

Direct user to Purdue.BeyondTrustCloud.com

Instruct user to click on your name from the list of representatives

Clicking on your name will bring the user to the below page, and will cause the users browser to attempt to download a .exe file

Instruct user to run the downloaded .exe file. The file should be in their downloads folder

Once the user runs the .exe, you will receive a session request in the BeyondTrust Remote Support Representative Console

Right-Click the session request, then click "Accept Session"
NOTE - After clicking Accept Session, two things will pop-up on the users end, a chat box that links to your console, and an overlay symbol at the top right of their screen

To see the users screen, click on the "Screen Sharing" button with the green play arrow

To end the session, click on the red X next to the users session tab on your console, then click "End Session"
