While Box REED folders will not be subject to a quota limitation, costs will be associated by the terabyte (TB), so it is beneficial to be able to check your respective folder size.

How do I Check my Current Usage?
- Sign-in to https://purdue.box.com
- Locate the folder, and open it:

- Click on “Details” on the right-hand pane:
- If this is action is taken on the root folder, it will display a count of all of the items in the subfolders, as well as a calculation of total size. In this example, we have 5.6 MB spanning 33 files.
What to Consider When Managing Content
It may be beneficial to migrate content from Box to a long-term storage solution, such as Fortress. For example, data for an older research project that is no longer needed, but needs to be preserved. Anything in the Box recycle bin will count against this usage, so it may be beneficial to visit the recycle bin and consider emptying it, if needed.
