Ag - How to add a shared mailbox in the new Outlook client

Overview

This article will show you how to add a shared mailbox in the new Outlook client. For reference, the below picture is what the Outlook client looks like in the Start Menu. The name of it is Outlook (new).

Instructions

  1. On the left side of Outlook, right-click on your email address and select Add shared folder or mailbox.

  2. In the opened box, type in the name of the mailbox you want to add and click Add. If you don't see the mailbox, try entering the complete email address instead of just the name.

  3. After you've added the mailbox, it will appear on the left side of Outlook under the folder called Shared with me.

    The mailbox will be listed under the "Shared with me" folder
