Managed Mac
NOTE: If you have a managed Mac, we recommend changing your password through this method as it will also change your keychain password. This helps counter any issues you may experience with your career account password and Keychain password not matching.
- While signed in to your Mac, click on the key icon on your device's Menu Bar
- Click on Change Password…

- Type in your old password, your new password, and verify your new password
- NOTE: You will get a prompt that will check off password requirements that you have met. When all dots are green, you will be able to proceed

- Click Change Password
Managed Windows Device
- While signed in to your managed device, Press CTRL+ALT+DEL on your keyboard
- Click Change a Password

- Type in your old password, your new password, and confirm your new password

- Press Enter or click on the Arrow in the Confirm Password Field
- Pending you meet the password requirements, you will get a prompt that your password was changed successfully
Boilerbot
- Go to boilerbot.purdue.edu
- Click Password Reset

- Follow prompts to reset your password
- NOTE: This method will require your PUID

- Go to https://www.purdue.edu/securepurdue/index.php
- Click on Change Your Password

- Under Your Account Tools (bottom right section), click on Change Password

- Type in your current password, new password, and confirm your new password

- Click Change Password
- NOTE: This method will require Duo Mobile/Token to sign in initially

- Call 1-765-494-8333 or 1-888-226-2438(toll free)
- Press 1 for password resets
