You have been issued a Duo Mobile bypass code, now what?

Overview

After requesting a bypass code from Boilerbot, an email with your Duo Mobile bypass code is sent to your Purdue email.

Please go to your Purdue email and look for an email from “BoilerBot” with the subject“BoilerBot - Duo bypass code”:

Issues accessing your Purdue email?

Purdue email uses Microsoft multi-factor authentication. If you can’t use the Authenticator app, select “I can’t use my Microsoft Authenticator app right now” and choose a call or text to sign in.

Microsoft sign-in prompt titled “Approve sign in request” for a Purdue University account. Instructions read: Open your Authenticator app and enter the number shown to sign in. The number displayed in this example is “63”. A note states: No numbers in your app? Make sure to upgrade to the latest version. Options include a checkbox for “Don’t ask again for 14 days” and a link reading “I can’t use my Microsoft Authenticator app right now.”
