Qualified Purdue faculty, staff, students and, in some cases, alumni have access to Purdue-negotiated pricing on computer hardware, software, and mobility service plans through the Purdue IT Shopping program.  More details can be found at https://www.itap.purdue.edu/shopping/index.html  

Hardware 
 
Purdue students, faculty, staff, and alumni are eligible to acquire computer hardware through special discount programs offered by various computer companies. 

To order equipment online see the Purdue IT Technology Discounts page and choose the vendor you wish to purchase from. 

Software 


Software is also available through Purdue IT’s Software Distribution on Purdue's CommunityHub.  Software Licensing and Distribution provides services associated with the establishment and retention of software agreements between Purdue University and software vendors, and the distribution of the resulting licensed software under the terms of these agreements. 
 
Academically-priced software is also available from OnTheHub (formerly Kivuto), a third-party vendor Purdue partners with for academic software. 

 

Hardware

Purdue students, faculty, staff, and alumni are eligible to acquire computer hardware through special discount programs offered by various computer companies.

  • To order equipment online visit the ITaP shopping page, and choose the vendor you wish to purchase from.

Software

Discounted software is available to currently registered Purdue students and to faculty and regular staff for use on personally-owned computers.  Depending on the specific agreement with each manufacturer, some software benefits may also extend to temporary employees or other categories of people affiliated with Purdue University.

    • If you ineligible and unsure why, send an email to itap-licensing@purdue.edu with a description of your problem.
       
    • Questions about student status should be directed to the Registrar or to your academic advisor (or to the Statewide Technology Location Director at your site).  Questions about employment status or job codes should be directed to your business office.
