How do I submit a request for a pager?

Overview

Learn how to submit a request for a Purdue-owned pager.

Instructions

  1. Click the 'Purdue IT Request' button to start a ticket
     
  2. Include in your service request the following information.
    1. Device type: (Numeric or Alpha Numeric)
    2. Name of person the device is for 
    3. Account number to pay the service plan ongoing.
       
  3. Once a service request has been submitted the processing time can take up to 2-3 weeks to complete depending on what is needed, availability, shipping, and pick-up.
     
  4. Purchasing a new device will take longer than receiving a rental.
    1. 1-3 business days for a cost summary to approve before the order is placed.
    2. 4-7 business days to receive everything from the vendor once the device and any accessories have been selected. 
       
  5. A rental device can typically be picked up in 1-3 business days.
