How do I remove myself from a Microsoft Teams team or group

Issue/Symptom:  

• I want to remove myself from a Microsoft Teams team 

Environment:   

• Microsoft Teams  

Resolution:   

1. In Microsoft Teams, click on the “Teams” icon in the left sidebar to see teams you are a member of. May need to click the “...” to see Teams icon.  

2. On the team you wish to leave, click the “...” next to the team name. 

3.   Select “Leave Team” 

   

    

4. Confirm that you want to leave team.
