How do I update my password challenge questions

Issue/Symptom:  

• User wants to update the answers to the challenge questions they are asked when retting their Purdue career account password 

Environment:   

• Purdue career account password 

Resolution:   

To reset password challenge questions, user must know their current password and be able to authenticate using Purdue Login. 

1. Go to https://www.purdue.edu/apps/account/ChangePassword 

2.   Click the “How do I...” tab, then select “How do I modify or setup my password challenge questions?” 

3. Log in using Purdue Login  

4. Fill out the form, including making sure the box next to “I will answer at least 3 of the following questions. You must answer ALL your questions exactly before your password will be reset.” is highlighted. 

5. Click Save. 

Note: While this method still works for changing passwords, the preferred method is to use boilerbot.pudue.edu to reset career account passwords.
