How do I update my password challenge questions

Issue/Symptom:  

• User wants to update the answers to the challenge questions they are asked when retting their Purdue career account password 

Environment:   

• Purdue career account password 

Resolution:   

To reset password challenge questions, user must know their current password and be able to authenticate using Purdue Login. 

1. Go to Password Challenge Questions

2. Log in using Purdue Login  

3. Fill out the form, including making sure the box next to “I will answer at least 3 of the following questions. You must answer ALL your questions exactly before your password will be reset.” is highlighted. 

5. Click Save. 

Note: While this method still works for changing passwords, the preferred method is to use boilerbot.pudue.edu to reset career account passwords.
