A step-by-step process on how to connect the networking drives on a Mac.

Instructions

To connect to network drives on a Mac, follow these steps:

  1. Click “Go” in the toolbar at the top of your screen.
  2. Select “Connect to Server…” from the drop-down menu.
  3. Enter the URL: https://myfiles.pfw.edu/htcomnet/hcwebdav/.
  4. Click “Connect.”
  5. Choose the option to connect as a registered user.
  6. Enter your Purdue Fort Wayne username and password when prompted.
  7. To save your login credentials for automatic connection on login:
    • Open System Preferences.
    • Under “System,” click “Users & Groups.”
    • Select the current account.
    • Click “Login Items.”
    • Click the plus (+) button.
    • Add “myfiles.ipfw.edu > hcwebdav.”
    • Exit System Preferences.
  8. Click “Connect.” That should get you connected to the network drives!
