  1. Create a Zip File:
    • Right-click on your desktop.
    • Choose “New” and then select “Compressed (Zipped) Folder.” This creates a new folder icon with a zipper on your desktop.
    • Right-click the new icon and select “Rename.”
    • Delete the old name and type a new name for your Zip file, including the “.zip” extension (e.g., “homework.zip”).
    • Click away from the folder to save the changed file name.
