What should I know about accessing WebNow?

Overview

Instructions for installing and accessing WebNow, also known as Perceptive Content.

Details

To use WebNow, log in to hhttps://wpvitbsimgint01.boilerad.purdue.edu/Content_Apps/#login

Currently WebNow requires the following to be installed on your computer:

  1. Edge or Internet Explorer
     
  2. Java version 1.8.0_xxx or below with 32 bit version of java, or 32 bit version java addon with 64 bit version of Java
     
  3. Access to the VPN

Please Note – All VPN networks should work to access WebNow.  If you are unable to launch WebNow please try the VPN: webvpn2.purdue.edu

Viewer Role Requirement

The SAP security roles on the individuals position give access to view Perceptive Content documents in WebNow.

*Check with your Supervisor and make sure you have the correct access for your position .

Troubleshooting

If you do not see the below image after you go to https://cm.itap.purdue.edu/webnow/, you should Confirm you are using MS Edge or Internet Explorer and Java version 1.8.0_xxx or below with 32 bit version of java, or 32 bit version java addon with 64 bit version of Java.

How to confirm if you have Java

In your bottom search bar search for “Configure Java” and launch the Configure Java application.

Click the “About” button and it will tell you what version of Java is installed
