An explanation on what to do when your password is going to expire. 

Instructions

The password expiration policy based on your affiliation with the university:

  1. Students: Passwords must be changed annually (every 365 days).
  2. Faculty & Staff: Passwords require a change every 90 days, depending on the account access level.
  3. Official Retiree/Emeritus: Passwords also need to be changed annually (every 365 days), depending on the account access level.

Note: Prior to your password expiring, you will receive email notifications 5 days and 1 day to your email. You must change your password before it expires, which you should go to Changing Your Purdue Fort Wayne PasswordIf you do not change your password within the specified days, you will be locked out of your account. To have the lockout reset, contact the Help Desk at helpdesk@pfw.edu or (260) 481-6030.
