Why am I not able to connect using the Windows wireless client?

Overview

In most cases, if another wireless client is on your computer, it will disable the 'Windows Wireless Zero Configuration Utility'.  This will prevent you from setting up a wireless network using the Windows OS.

If this happens, you will either need to disable the extra wireless client (and possibly restart Windows), or you can use it to make the connection.

If you would like to use the non-OS client to configure your wireless, all the settings should be the same.  However we only support the built-in OS configuration, so we do not have specific help articles for every type of client wireless setup.
