How to change your GoPFW account password

Overview

Students, staff, and faculty at Purdue Fort Wayne have two sets of career account credentials: one provided by Purdue Fort Wayne, and a second set from Purdue University.

To access services protected by Purdue two-factor authentication, including the Purdue IT Service Portal, users must know their Purdue University career account username and password (which may be different from those used to access Purdue Fort Wayne services).  See "How Purdue Fort Wayne students and faculty can check their Purdue Login credentials".

To change your GoPFW account password, see instructions below:

Instructions

You can change your GoPFW Account password by going to the Self Service Password Reset Portal or mypassword.pfw.edu.

  • Enter your credentials and log in; click Change Password and follow the prompts for resetting your password
  • If you have already logged in and set up your security questions, you will see the Main Menu page. If not, directions to do so are here

If you don’t know your current password or haven’t set up recovery methods, call the Purdue IT Service Desk at Purdue Fort Wayne (260) 481-6030 to request a password reset. Be sure you have your name as shown on your account and your GoPFW account login ready. You will be asked additional questions for verification purposes.
