Overview

This document is a tutorial on how to modify Listserv settings, a service that allows users to create and manage email lists at PFW. It shows how to log in, select a list, edit the list header manually, and change the list title, description, or attachments.

Instructions

Modifying Listserv Settings 

  1. Go to https://listserv.pfw.edu and log in, setting a password if you have not already. 

  1. Click List Configuration from the menu on the left side of the page. 

  1. If you are an owner or editor of more than one Listserv, be sure to select the appropriate Listserv from the drop-down menu below Select List:. 

  1. The List Header will be displayed. You should be very careful before making changes to the list header since it will affect the list's behavior.  

  1. If you plan on making many changes, it is strongly recommended that you copy and paste the text of the header into a text before you make any changes. This way you can always revert back to a previous version. 

  1. Click Edit Manually to proceed. The List Header field will become editableOnce finished, click Update. 

Note: If you would like to edit the List Title, List Description, or the HTML Description click the Descriptions buttonIf you would like to add attachments to your Listserv, click the Attachments button.
