Ag- How to add a Network Printer to a County Extension office Windows Computer

Overview

This Knowledge Base will take you through the steps for adding an Agriculture Managed Printer to an Agriculture Managed Windows PC that is located within the county extension offices.

 

Prerequisite(s):

  • Connect to either BOILERAD, VPN, or CES Wi-Fi on your Device

 

Instructions

  • Open File Explorer on your device by clicking the folder icon in your taskbarUploaded Image (Thumbnail)

 

  • In the address bar, type in \\42COUNTYNAME (example: \\42noble) where county name is the full name of your office.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

 

  • Double click on the printer(s) you wish to add and wait for the driver to installUploaded Image (Thumbnail)

 

  • Once the driver has been installed, you will receive a pop up of the printers printing queue. This indicates you are now ready to print!Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
